Belinda is a highly experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about building strong connections with her clients to get the most out of their rehabilitation journey. Belinda takes the time to understand her clients' goals and uses her knowledge and expertise to ensure they can achieve the best outcomes together.
Belinda graduated from Physiotherapy at La Trobe University in 2012, earning the top spot at the Inaugural Physiotherapy Professional Evaluation and Exchange of Knowledge Conference.
Belinda spent the next 8 years rotating through all areas of physiotherapy in acute tertiary and rehabilitation hospitals across Melbourne, Sydney and London (UK). This broad experience has equipped her with an extensive skill set and knowledge base, which she applies to her clients assessments and treatments daily.
Belinda sought a change from the hospital setting, and quickly found her passion for home-based physiotherapy. She saw that the most rewarding rehabilitation occurs from the comfort of her own clients' homes, where they can work together on goals that are truly meaningful to them.
Belinda loves being creative with her treatment sessions, using her own equipment and every day things in her clients' homes to make the sessions exciting and new.
Belinda is passionate about improving the independence of her elderly clients in the community. She has worked as the Senior Physiotherapist on Aged Care wards and has vast experience treating complex presentations.
Belinda deepened her neurological rehabilitation expertise whilst completing locum work in London, UK. She specialised in acute and subacute stroke rehab, working at a Senior capacity in a large subacute stroke unit. Belinda is skilled in tailoring her programs to the unique needs of patients with conditions such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease, and focuses on improving function, managing symptoms, and enhancing quality of life.
Outside of Ready Steady Rehab, Belinda is a proud mum to two young children. She loves cooking up a storm, socialising with friends, skiing the slopes and going on new travel adventures.
Our experienced physiotherapists treat you from the comfort of your own home. You don't have to worry about finding transport to a clinic or managing to get in and out of the car to come and see us
Our individually tailored home exercise programs are designed to be completed in your own home. No need for fancy gyms and equipment, we use things you already have in your home!
Our clients often feel more at ease having physiotherapy sessions in their own homes, as opposed to in a busy physio clinic with lots of people around
Seeing people in their own homes gives us the opportunity to work on goals that are really meaningful to our clients. For example: to be able to negotiate the outdoor steps to a client's patio or being able walk down to their local grocery shop
When your physiotherapist comes to see you at home, it means spending less time in busy hospitals or clinic waiting rooms where you are more likely to catch bugs from unwell people around you
Our physiotherapists are trained at identifying potential falls hazards in our clients' home. Whilst conducting home visits, we can give real time advice on ways to prevent falls in our clients' own environments
