Belinda Schnellenberg
Belinda is the Founder and Director of Ready Steady Rehab and is passionate about helping older adults and people living with disability achieve meaningful goals through personalised, home-based physiotherapy. After graduating from La Trobe University in 2012, Belinda spent more than a decade working across acute tertiary and rehabilitation hospitals in Melbourne, Sydney and London (UK). Her broad clinical experience includes senior roles in aged care, rehabilitation and neurological physiotherapy, providing her with extensive expertise in managing complex presentations and supporting clients through all stages of their rehabilitation journey. Belinda has a particular interest in falls prevention, mobility and balance retraining, neurological rehabilitation, and helping clients maintain their independence within the community. During her time in London, she further developed her expertise in stroke rehabilitation, working in a senior capacity within a large subacute stroke unit. While Belinda valued her years working in hospitals, she discovered her true passion in home-based physiotherapy. She believes the most meaningful and rewarding rehabilitation occurs in a client own environment, where therapy can be tailored to the activities, challenges and goals that matter most to them. Belinda loves working alongside clients in their homes, creating personalised and engaging treatment programs that build confidence, maximise independence and improve quality of life. Outside of Ready Steady Rehab, Belinda is a proud mum to three young children. She loves cooking up a storm, socialising with friends, skiing the slopes and going on new travel adventures.

Anna Marriott-Smith
Anna graduated from Melbourne University in 2001, and has since worked as a physiotherapist for 24 years, with more than 20 years providing Home Based Physiotherapy. She has worked as community physiotherapist in Melbourne and London, working as a home visiting physiotherapist at Monash Health for 15 years. She more recently spent 4 years living in Metung, Victoria for a Tree Change with her family where she worked and further expanded her clinical skills at the local regional hospital. Anna believes the best rehab occurs at home! She feels it is a great privilege to be able to work with people in their homes. She is passionate about enabling clients to remain safely and confidently in their own community while achieving meaningful health and wellbeing outcomes. Anna prides herself on being an excellent listener and communicator, taking the time to build a solid rapport with all her clients. With this foundation she is able to provide her clients with a personal, motivating approach which ensures their needs and wishes are the centre of our physio program and allows for most effective home based care. Anna has 3 children, so when she is not driving Mum Taxi she loves to garden, cook, exercise and when she can escape the city bustle for a camping trip by the beach or in the bush with her family.

Natalie Ly
Nat studied physiotherapy at La Trobe University, and started her career at The Royal Melbourne Hospital where she was trained in areas such as neurological, orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, and geriatric rehabilitation, as well as general surgery and emergency. It was here that she found her passion for community physiotherapy, in particular working with older adults. She loves getting to know her patients well – their stories, their lives, and how she can make a difference in their day to day. She feels a deep sense of reward when her patient tells her that they have been able to do things they have not previously been able to – such as bend over to pick up a pen from the ground. She loves that the little things like this make a huge impact on people lives. Her special interests include geriatrics, hip and knee replacements, and Parkinson Disease. In her personal life, Nat is an avid but terrible surfer, plant mum, and most recently is learning how to knit – with a few hot tips from her patients.

Claire Chadbourn
Claire graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 1996 and completed a Graduate Diploma of Health Promotion at Deakin University in 2017. She has developed experience across a range of healthcare settings, including hospitals, private practice, residential aged care, and community services in Australia, the UK, and South Africa. Since 2016, Claire has worked in community physiotherapy, partnering with people in their own homes to support their independence, manage their health, and continue participating in the activities that matter most to them. She values building collaborative relationships that empower individuals to achieve their goals and maintain their quality of life. Outside of work, Claire enjoys gardening, exploring Australia, and staying connected with family and friends near and far.

Dave Lowen
Dave is a UK trained Physiotherapist with nearly 40 years experience in the field of rehabilitation. He has dual citizenship with UK and Australia. Dave has a passion for disability work and this has involved him living and working in a variety of countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan and Colombia where the work has been quite varied ranging from developing national Stroke guidelines to setting up Diploma/Degree courses to managing disability projects. He also occasionally tutors at Monash University. Dave specialises in working with Neurological disorders and working in the elderly sector. He loves working in the Community because the work there is much more relevant to the patient especially when they are in their home setting. In Dave spare time he enjoys film and music and has a weekly internet radio show which features great music alongside inane chat.

Jill Law Min
Jill graduated in 2017 from a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney. Since then, she has worked across various public hospitals in both Sydney and Melbourne. She found an interest in Community Rehab during her time at Monash Health as a Grade 1 rotating Physiotherapist. Her passion for Community Rehab grew when she stepped into a Grade 2 role at Northern Health. There, she managed a range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, as well as the chronic pain population. She enjoys being able to develop a close relationship with her clients, educating them, and empowering them to become independent again as they work towards their goals. Outside of work, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, friends, and being outdoors as much as possible.

Joyce Lau
Joyce graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University in 2020 and has been working as a community physiotherapist since then. She has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and geriatric care, with a focus on supporting clients to maintain and improve their independence, mobility and functions. What Joyce loves most about community physiotherapy is the relationships she builds with her clients. She takes a collaborative and practical approach to care, working closely with each client to understand what matters to them and how physiotherapy can best support their day-to-day life. Outside of work, Joyce enjoys travelling, discovering new cultures and trying different cuisines. She also speaks Mandarin and Malay.

LiYing Kuo
LiYing graduated from Otago University in 2009 and began work in a private practice and private hospital setting in Auckland. LiYing moved to Melbourne in 2011 and has since worked as a physiotherapist delivering services to Residential Aged Care Facilities and the community. LiYing is a passionate physiotherapist dedicated to working with clients to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. LiYing finds that the most rewarding aspect of the role is getting to know her clients, hearing their incredible and interesting unique stories. During weekends, LiYing loves spending time listening to music and crafting with her daughters.

Catherine graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has over 30 years experience working in private practice, acute hospitals, rehabilitation, patient homes, aged care and hydrotherapy. Catherine has over 15 years experience providing physiotherapy services in people homes; post operative rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery, falls and balance intervention, strengthening and reconditioning programmes and pain management. Catherine recognised 15 years ago the importance of providing a high level of physiotherapy care to people, mainly older adults, in their homes. She has found this to be immensely rewarding.
